Home > About NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. It aims to support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability as well as their families and carers.
The NDIS contributes to people who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. It also helps people with disability in connections such as doctors, sporting clubs, and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.
